Version 0.1.86 can run in a modern browser with no installation. Browser, Linux, and macOS builds are highly experimental; Android and Windows remain the primary beta platforms.

Runs directly from this site using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Keyboard, pointer, rendering, assets, and audio use the new browser host.

Before you play
Browser play needs no installation. Keep each downloaded package intact and follow the platform-specific notes.
Browser
Use a current browser with WebAssembly enabled. Audio begins only after a user gesture; use the in-game Enable sound control when prompted.
Android
Download the APK, open it, and follow your phone's prompt to allow this one installation source if needed. Gambit Guard does not require an account and stores progression on your device.
Windows
Extract the entire ZIP before launching Gambit Guard. Keep the executable, DLL files, assets, and data folders together. Windows may warn about an uncommon unsigned beta from an independent developer.
Linux
Extract the entire tar.gz archive, keep every file together, and run the Gambit Guard executable. The current build targets 64-bit x86 Linux.
macOS
Extract the ZIP on an Apple Silicon Mac, then Control-click Gambit Guard.app and choose Open. It is not notarized with Apple, so a developer-verification warning is expected.
