Every move is an attack.
Command a full chess army, redraw the maze, and hold your King against nine waves of living siege.

Gambit Guard — Chess Commands. Living Sieges.
Chess pieces. Tower-defense pressure. No fixed lanes.
Gambit Guard is not chess with creeps pasted on top. Your legal moves are the weapons, and every move changes the paths the enemy can take.
Command the move
Select a piece, preview a legal destination, inspect exact hits and predicted knockouts, then confirm the strike. Your army never attacks automatically.
Shape the siege
Creeps route through open squares. Seal a route and they attack a reachable defender until they can break through and resume the hunt.
Guard the King
Survive nine timed waves, adapt with permanent Gambit upgrades, and face the Checkmate Golem without losing your King.
Plan before you commit
See the whole command before it lands
A destination preview shows the damage footprint, every current victim, predicted knockouts, and the move's secondary effect. The second tap commits the command.
Non-Pawn pieces hit hardest on the destination, deal reduced damage beside it, and leave a lighter strike along the traveled path. Knights trace their two-square leg first, then the final step.

The siege in motion
Selected in-game captures from the current friends-and-family beta.
Built for deliberate, replayable runs
9 challenge tiers
Clear the highest open tier to unlock exactly the next one, from an approachable first breach to expert-level pressure.
9 waves per assault
Each wave advances on a 60-second clock. Survivors carry pressure forward, and wave nine waits for the final cleanup.
A full 16-piece army
Start in the standard closed two-rank formation with every Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, and King present.
